When I met Isabella last January, I knew that I wanted Isabella as one of my brides. She was really nice, knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding in terms of decor, and she had a background in veterinary medicine. I was so excited when she decided to hire me for Full Wedding Planning, Design, and Decor. I couldn’t wait to start planning my first wedding at Hemingbough Plantation.
Isabella wanted a rustic wedding filled with Fall tones. She wanted to incorporate lanterns and birdcages along with sunflowers into the overall design. In the end, we ended up doing lanterns and candles with wood accents. I wanted everything to flow really nicely with the overall layout and venue.
I loved how Isabella did so many DIY projects for her wedding. The girl literally baked her own wedding cake and cupcakes. That was definitely a first for me! By the way, the cake smelled like a little piece of heaven and it was adorable. In between baking 300 cupcakes, she managed to fit in a couple custom signs at the wedding, table place cards, and like 250 custom engraved wooden coasters.
One of my favorite projects for Isabella’s wedding was putting together her sewing themed sign in table. Her guests were given the opportunity to write a blessing or a special note on a piece of fabric that would later be sewn into a quilt. I loved this idea and it definitely went with the overall feel of her wedding.
Thank you Raymond and Isabella for letting me be apart of your life and wedding these past several months! I can’t wait to see where life takes you guys.
