Oh my, where should I start on this personal and beautiful wedding?!
Cassan had one of the most unique and gorgeous dresses for her wedding. I’m not sure how you can beat a custom made dress with lace from Cassan’s great-grandmother’s collection. Then add in the mint colored Tom’s, henna, and a lavender flower crown…and you got yourself one stylish bride.
Cassan wanted her wedding ceremony to be held in the morning at her family’s co-owned vineyard. We decided to hold the ceremony under a gorgeous tree that we draped with fabric. We filled the ceremony with sunflowers and mason jars. After the ceremony, Cassan & Justin took pictures around the farm and she even included her goats into the pictures. I love goats so I was obviously pretty excited about this.
The reception was held later in the evening at La Provence. I can honestly say that it was the best reception food that I’ve ever had at a wedding. For the venue, we wanted to add a lot of wood elements and vintage bottles to the place. It’s already a great place for a reception so we didn’t want to go overkill with the decor. We filled the mantles with vintage bottles and wildflowers, we put succulents, wildflowers, and slabs of wood at each table, and we built a custom wood backdrop for the dessert table. The succulents were all grown and provided by my husband. He also built the wood backdrop.
I was so incredibly thankful to work with a couple like Justin & Cassan along with Cassan’s amazing mom. I hope that I have more brides like Cassan who really believe in adding intentional and personal details to their wedding.
