I remember the day that I saw Darielle. I was setting up for another wedding when her mother asked me about my services. I wrote down my email address and told her that she could email me with anything that she needed. I didn’t think too much of it so when I received an email months later from Darielle, I was really surprised. Over a year later from the day I saw Darielle, I was coordinating her wedding. Life is crazy in that way, where you never know who it’s going to lead you to. I’m glad it led me to Darielle.
Darielle was a really special bride for me. And it’s not because she got me the most thoughtful gift ever or because she shared my same love for baking and gardens. It’s because I got to see her be the sweetest mother to her son Elliot and a perfect partner to Jeff. I loved that her and Jeff weren’t afraid to DIY projects such as signs, terrariums, and the amazing smores bar. She chose to center the wedding around ferns and I really loved that too! Her wedding was truly a labor of love from Darielle, Jeff, and of course Darielle’s mom who did all of the florals for the wedding. She mixed in all the necessary components for a beautiful day and added in so many personal touches.
Every component of Darielle’s decor just felt right. It had an outdoorsy feel with a classy look. We accented the silver chargers with hand dyed napkins and a fern on top. The arbor was built by Jeff and adorned with ferns and white roses/peonies. Handmade terrariums lined the entrance way and shutters adorned with sentimental pictures welcomed the guests. The photographer Natalie was also a perfect complement to this wedding since she was able to grab their personalities while also getting the beauty of the Hilltop Arboretum.
I wish only the best to Darielle and Jeff with their new adventures in Pennsylvania! You guys are truly an amazing couple and I’m lucky to have spent the past year getting to know you!
