Kaitlin and Brenner are the kind of couple that stories are written about. They had a love that withstood ten years of being apart. Brenner and Kaitlin dated through high school but split up after they graduated. They moved on with their lives but they always thought of each other. Kaitlin had three sweet girls during that time and Brenner focused on his career. Finally, before Kaitlin’s 30th birthday she randomly called Brenner and the rest is history.
These two sweet souls are the reason why I’m a wedding planner. I want to plan weddings for couples where their love is truly the main focus. Kaitlin and Brenner put every ounce of their love into their wedding. They wanted their guests to be immersed in an atmosphere that reflected their personalities.
Kaitlin decided that she wanted a small backyard wedding on her family’s property. She wanted to embrace the country atmosphere and loved the opportunity to be surrounded by not only family but also the cow’s next door. We filled the tables with eucalyptus and baby’s breath to give the decor an organic feel. Kaitlin walked down the aisle with a bouquet of calla lilies to honor her grandmother. I think I loved the decor so much at this wedding because it just felt right. It wasn’t over the top but it was them.
Getting to know Brenner, Kaitlin, and the girls was truly an honor for me. I feel in love with this family and I was so sad to say goodbye. These sweet people made a huge impact in my life and business. I honestly can’t thank them enough.
